tutus in the fabric district.

The Fabric District in Downtown Los Angeles has got to be one of the most colorful places in Los Angeles. I went down looking for a specific type of print and experienced and onslaught of colors and patterns.

It was incredible.

The 4 or so blocks are so full of life; people running around getting fabrics for whatever garment they were going to create. I think that’s what appeals to me most about this vibrant area, each bolt of fabric is going to become something once it finds the right creative person. There’s just so much potential that exists in this area.

It should also be mentioned that everyone is extremely nice. As if being surrounded by all this color and limitless possibilities for creation are some sort of upper.

I’ll be going back to wander around soon…
